Bathroom Upgrade with Dollar Store Finds!
Items:
3 picture frames= $1 each
2 jars= $1 each
Paint= I already had it
Cricut= I already had it
I found picture frames at the dollar store…I needed three black frames. Two out of the three were brown, so I painted the two brown ones black!
I then attempted to give my dog a bath! Now mind you my dog is a black 60lb, 6 month old Lab. Lets just say it was VERY interesting getting him in the tub and out of the tub! Check out the pictures I made to hang up in the bathrooms!
Brown picture frame:
Paint it black!
Jack is in the bath tub looking up at me!
Waiting to get cleaned!
He is trying to dry himself with the towel! It was pretty funny!
Finished product:
I then found these jars at the dollar store:
I decided to put q-tips and cotton balls in them! I got the idea to use the cricut to cut out the letters for each jar from again my wonderful cousin-in-law over at Mine for the Making!!
Finished product:
Do you have any inexpensive bathroom upgrade ideas? If so I would love to hear about them!! I am always looking for new ideas to give a room in my a house a little upgrade!
Enjoy!

Halloween Wreath [tutorial]
Get WHATEVER you want! I went to Michaels AND the dollar store and picked out odds and ends that looked good to me! I got a black boa, foam wreath frame, ribbon, skull, wooden letters, and a wooden sign!
Step one: Cover the foam wreath frame with the black boa. Keep a spot up top to tie a ribbon!
Step two: Tie the ribbon of your choice on the wreath. I used two different ribbons: orange and black polka dots
Step three: Paint the wooden sign..I painted it black.
Step four: Paint the skull…I painted it white.
Step five: Glue skull head on the wreath.
Step six: Paint the wooden letters, glue them on the wooden frame then glue the frame on the wreath.
FINISHED!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN
Enjoy!

Job…
So to give you a little background I have wanted to be a teacher since I was 5 years old! I just graduated college in ‘09 with my undergrad in Elementary Education. I am currently getting my masters in special ed. Finding a job has been so hard and I am so lucky and grateful that my brother-in-law and sister have been so flexible with letting me work for them. I recently went for an interview at my old elementary school and was hired today!!! I am so excited! I am a one on one teacher in a self contained classroom. I am super excited and can’t wait to start on Monday! It is a foot in the door to some day having my own classroom!! I am just so happy that the school liked me and wanted me to come and work for them!!
My best friends mean the world to me! I don’t know what I would do without them~ We have known each other for almost 11 years now and every year is better then the last!
They came over tonight and we celebrated me getting my first teaching job!!! We made homemade pizza and it was so good!!! They surprised me with a bottle of wine and a yummy cookie cake!
This cookie cake had a red apple on it too but we ate it lol =)
Love you again girls! Thank you for supporting me and being the best friend, sister and partner in crime a girl could ask for!
