This week in my classroom I am doing an under the water theme! My kiddies are learning about the ocean and animals in the ocean!
Today we made an octopus out of toilet paper rolls!!
What you will need:
- Toilet paper rolls
- Blue paint
- Googly eyes
Have the students paint the rolls..
Let rolls dry..
Add the eyes and his cute little smile..
Have the students cut 8 slots into the bottom of the roll... this is a great time to work on motor skills with scissors...
Bend the ends in...
Ta-Da!
Isn't he cute??
