Bachelorette Weekend Ideas

The weekend was upon us and I was busy getting ready to make it the best bachelorette weekend possible! I went out and got all the goodies to make up beach bags and survival bags! My kitchen table with all the items!! Yikes! I got the girls, pink bags, pink flip flops, pink nail polish, pink gum, pink sun glasses, pink lip gloss and pink hair ties! Are you seeing a trend? :)

I got these cups and had the labels placed on them and filled them with goodies for the girls!

These super cute lip glosses were a awesome for the beach!!

They were a huge hit and taste delicious!!

I made a sparkly pink champagne bottle for our first night! It was pretty simple…I sprayed it with spray paint, covered it in glitter and sprayed Mod Podge on top of it to adhere the glitter.

I made up survival bags for the girls as well…here are some of the items..

I got this super cute sign to hang up on the front door of the beach house! I wanted the girls to hashtag all the pictures to a specific link and this was a great way to do it!

It's funny - all of this money in debt, for several degrees and I'm not using any of it. I'm doing something I enjoy more, putting smiles on others faces by helping someones special day become even more special as best as I can. I've traveled many places and have seen many styles. However, since my son was born in April of 2013, lets just say traveling around the world is no longer as easy or really that possible yet.

I can't complain, I'd have it no other way - working from home and having my little man around me 24/7, he is the reason I am now selling on etsy...

I've done web design for years (stay tuned I will have a site up soon). I came on here in March 2014 to order something for my sons 12 month old party. I filled out what they asked, made my requests, not only were they all ignored but it took nearly 2 weeks to get my file and there was nothing personable about the transaction.

I then realized, why the heck did I just pay for something I can create myself? Then that's when I started my etsy store. If I get an order and I can get right to it, I do. I don't like to keep anyone waiting. My goal is to also make sure no one walks away disappointed, these after all are called CUSTOM files, right? So that's what we'll do together, customize your file to be perfect just for you!

We did an "underwear" line for the bride to be! We each brought a pair of panties for her that had something to do with our relationship with the bride! This was a big hit and a lot of fun!

As you can see we had an amazing weekend with a great group of girls!!

Spinach Artichoke Spaghetti Squash Recipe

If you are on the 21 Day Fix this is a great recipe for you to use! It was so yummy and you felt like you were eating pasta!! Here is what you need to do:

Ingredients:

Spaghetti Squash

Greek Plain Yogurt

Spinach

Can of Artichokes

Salt and Pepper

Garlic

Onion

Parmesan Cheese

Oil

Cut the spaghetti squash in 1/2 and fill with water, place it in the microwave for 10 minutes.

While that is cooking dice a quarter of an onion and place in a pan with 1 tbs of oil. Minced garlic and add it to the pan. While that is cooking add 1/2 of container of plain greek yogurt. Then you can add your diced artichokes and spinach to the pan. Cook until spinach is cooked down!

Fill each spaghetti bowl with ingredients from the pan. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top and enjoy!!

Tortellini Soup Recipe

What you will need:

*1 Bag of frozen tortellini

*2 Onions

*5 Cloves of garlic *minced*

*Chicken broth -2 cartons

*Turkey sausage

*Kale

*Can crushed tomatoes

*Salt, pepper and crushed red pepper

-Cook the sausage in a pan and place aside

-Cook onion and garlic in a pot until clear

-Pour chicken broth, can of crushed tomatoes and kale into the pot

-Cook on medium to high for about 10-15 minutes

-Boil and add tortellini cook for another 10 minutes

-Add salt, pepper and crushed red pepper to taste

Once the pasta is cooked you can enjoy!

Red Velvet, White Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Are you ready to celebrate Valentines Day? It is one of my FAVORITE holidays! Single or married I have always LOVED this holiday! When I was single I honored how strong I was as an independent woman, I knew who I was as a person, which I think many people forget to do. Being married I enjoy spoiling my husband more than receiving anything from him. I love to show him how much I love and appreciate him! One way is to his stomach! Introducing these yummy cookies! I tweaked the recipe from Life in the Longhouse! They came out SO GOOD!

INGREDIENTS

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/2 Tablespoons cocoa powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
7 Tablespoons butter, at room temperature
6 Tablespoons vegetable shortening, at room temperature
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 large egg yolk
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 Tablespoon red food coloring
1 cups white chocolate chips, divided

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Place aside!
Add butter, shortening and sugar to the bowl of an electric stand mixer and mix on medium speed until very fluffy, about 3 or so minutes. Add egg, egg yolk and mix until combined. Then add vinegar, vanilla and food coloring. Mix until well blended.
Slowly add dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Stir in 1/2 cup white chocolate chips. Scoop dough out by the heaping Tablespoonful, and roll into balls. Place balls on a parchment lined baking sheet. Gently press about 4-5 more white chocolate chips into the top of each ball. Being careful not to flatten the balls. This will make the chips stay on top rather then sink inside the cookie!
Bake cookies for 6-7 minutes. Allow cookies to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

You can eat these yummy cookies right away or you can freeze them for up to three months!
