Meet Christy:
Inspired by brilliant color, vibrant fashion trends, and a deep passion to drive my own retail shop, laalee was launched in 2011 by me, Christy Boustany Mims, out of south Louisiana. My pieces have been worn by many bridal parties, brides, and even celebrities. The jewelry makes a wonderful birthday or holiday gift and the best thing is that women of all ages can enjoy it!
My mother has always made jewelry, so naturally you always turn out like your mom, right?!
Prior to launching laalee in 2011, I received a B.S. in Business Management from Louisiana State University (geaux tigers!) and worked in Human Resources for the state and as a recruiter for a healthcare company. My management degree has truly come in handy for the business side of things, while my creative mind allows for me to enjoy what I do EVERY DAY! I am truly blessed. I also have a wonderful husband named Andrew (married my high school sweetheart), a super HANDSOME son, Andrew Jr., and a playful and GORGEOUS maltese puppy named Milly Mims.
Working with brides on a daily basis is a passion of mine. I loved planning my wedding and the opportunity for a bride or her bridal party to wear my jewelry is truly an honor. I am humbled by each customer, whether they are a bride or not, and I look forward to making their experience one they will never forget!

The charm is matte finished gold plated and measures 15mm. The wire is tarnish resistant gold over brass. The wire has been hand-formed to create a one-of-a-kind look. The bangle will be close to a circle, but won't be a perfect circle, which adds to the bracelet's organic charm.
